Senior Center Day Trips

The Senior Center offers around 7 day trips a years to destinations throughout the state of Indiana and sometimes Illinois.  These are interesting trips including shopping, dinner clubs, ball games and fairs. With local sponsors, we keep the cost as low as we can.  The cost differs from trip to trip from $12.00 to $40.00. We travel by bus, usually on Imperial Travel.

Sign up is about 30 days before a trip, in person, at the Senior Center at Jenks Rest in Columbian Park (see sign up dates below).  We open the Senior Center doors at 8:30 a.m. for ticket sales and it is first come, first served (numbers given as you enter the door). We usually have room for  47 or 55 people depending on the size of the bus.  Again, you must sign up in person and pay the day you sign up. You may only sign up one other person at this time besides yourself.  You must sign a Liability Wavier and fill out an information card for your own safety. 

Refunds: You may get a refund only if you contact us at least five days before the day of the trip. You will receive your refund by mail in two to three weeks.
