Senior Center Parties

The Senior Center has special parties each year. All require you to sign up in advance and if there is a fee, to pay in advance. Watch for details before each event. Seating is limited.

Halloween Bingo - to be announced for 2008

Come dressed up in your favorite Halloween costume and you could win a prize for Best Costume, Ugliest Costume or Funniest Costume.

Thanksgiving Dinner - to be announced for 2008

This is a formal sit down meal served at noon. The food is catered in and served by volunteers. Seating is limited.

Christmas Dinner - to be announced for 2008

This is a formal sit down meal that is catered in and served by volunteers. The meal is served at noon and after the meal there is entertainment. To make reservation you must come in to sign up and pay in advance. Seating is limited.

Christmas Carry In dinner, Lights and White Elephant - to be announced for 2008

This event is usually several weeks before Christmas. Seniors carry in their favorite covered Christmas dish. They bring in a wrapped white elephant gift with a sign saying "man" or "woman" on it. The Senior Center provides the main course and the drinks. We eat at 5:30 p.m. and then we have a white elephant gift exchange. At 6:30 p.m. some seniors take the Care-A-Van to see Christmas lights around town. There are limited seats on Care-A-Van so you need to sign up as soon as possible if you want to go on the light tour. If you can’t provide a covered dish, there is a small fee. Call in advance and make your reservation before the deadline date as seating is limited.

New Year's Party - to be announced for 2008

We have a wonderful New Years Party at noon. There is usually a small fee that includes dinner, entertainment, party favors, door prizes, Bingo, fun and friends. To make reservation you must come to the Senior Center to sign up and pay in advance as seating is limited.
