Care-A-Van is a specialized "door through door" assisted transportation system that serves seniors 60 and older and disabled citizens of all ages throughout Tippecanoe County.  We provide transport to medical appointments, pharmacies, congregate meals sites, community centers, grocery stores, Senior Center and social service agencies through the use of lift-equipped vans.  All appointments set Monday – Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Your donations are needed.  Please send your donations to TCCA, Care-A-Van, P.O. Box 6478, Lafayette, IN  47903-6478.  If you ride, donate generously.  Thanks!

Do I qualify?

  •  For seniors age 60 or older and/or disabled
  •  Live within Tippecanoe County

Fees?

  • No fees but donations of $2.00 - $3.00 for each one way trip are appreciated
  • Accepts Medicaid

How Do I Sign Up?

  • Call 449-1117 
  • The initial application can be done over the phone
  • All appointments Monday - Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
  • For trips, request transportation at least 48 business hours in advance of the trip.

    Capital grants for vans and equipment have come from:

  • Indiana Department of Transportation
